If you're looking for a healthy, capable, well-adjusted puppy, with proven bloodlines...you've come to the right place.

Contender Retrievers has been hunting, competing, living alongside, and breeding Labrador Retrievers for over 30 years. We've bred puppies that are at home in the duck blind, upland fields, or competing. Those very same dogs can then come home and play dress-up, go sledding, or attend games and activities.
